Photography can be a powerful tool for self expression and this programme is designed to give your kid a chance to explore the world around them through their inquisitive eye. It helps them find their own self expression–something that can be nurtured at a young age to enhance that creative side of children.

About the Coach

Priya Goswami

Hello, I’m Priya Goswami, a professional kids and family portraits photographer based out of Delhi, India. I’ve witnessed the incredible energy and boundless creativity that kids possess firsthand and it never fails to amaze me. I have especially curated this fun and engaging programme in collaboration with Learning Matters to Introduce kids to this creative art form.

Photography can be a powerful tool for self expression and this workshop is designed to give your kid a chance to explore the world around through their inquisitive eye and find their own self expression – something that can be nurtured at a young age to enhance that creative side of children.

About the Centre

Learning Matters

Learning Matters is a dynamic, child-centred educational organisation for children, parents and educators. Their approach is rooted in bridging the neuroscience of learning to classroom practices.

At Learning Matters, they believe children must experience joy while learning. Their Enrichment Programmes are established for children to enjoy their childhood, an after-school offering for children between the ages of 3 to 12 years. These enrichment programmes are designed to address the diverse ways in which children express themselves and learn about the world around them.

16 Sep – Origins of Photography
  • Introduction to concepts of photography – simplified for kids
  • Photography trivia, fun facts and more
23 Aug – Self Expression and Channelising Creativity
  • Introduction to the concept of photography as a medium to express themselves & help the artist in them grow
  • Help them channelise their imagination into creative pictures
30 Sep – Photo Walk
  • We head out for a walk with kids and encourage them to take photos of everything that catches their eye
7 Oct – People and Portrait Photography
  • Tips and tricks to capture creative pictures of their families and friends
  • Do’s & Don’ts of clicking portraits
14 Oct -Storytelling via Photography
  • Stories are an integral part of childhood and this programme will guide the kids how to tell a story through pictures

This workshop spans a total of 5 hours, i.e. 1 hour each on Saturdays in Sep & Oct

This workshop is being conducted in association with Learning Matters, Green Park at their center.

This is an Introductory level workshop where kids will be introduced to this visual art form through creative classroom sessions, activities and a photo walk. For practicing at home, any camera would work, be it your phone camera or a DSLR or any other camera equipment.

A curious kid willing to explore and dive into the magic world of photography.

You are welcome to explore around the center while the kid is enjoying the workshop.

This is an introductory level workshop where we’ll introduce this art form to kids as a medium to express themselves. Hence no prior photography knowledge needed.

Yes, every child participant will be provided with a certificate of participation.

For Kids 6-9 years: INR 5,500/-
